Our annual visit to one of the most impressive buildings in Dorset is always a treat. The astonishing range of choral textures explored in Martin’s sublime Mass will match the soaring architecture of Milton Abbey. Pioneering American composer Amy Beach’s Help us, O God is a large-scale motet of great intensity. Allegri’s Miserere makes full use of the wonderful building, with aethereal high notes floating from the distance.
